SEVERANCE AGREEMENTS

An employer may offer you a severance agreement for several reasons. They may just wish to part amicably. They may also be trying to prevent you from suing them from claims they know you have.

Virtually all severance agreements contain a release of all past, present, and future claims against the employer, and other terms can vary widely. You need an attorney to not only review the contract, but also make sure you are not surrendering any claims you have that entitle you to much more compensation.

If your employer is asking you to sign a severance agreement, contact Fett Law today by calling us at 734-954-0100 or by submitting the website contact form below.
