Nowaki vs. State of Michigan Department of Corrections

Plaintiff Tom Nowacki filed Nowacki v. State of Michigan Department of Corrections, Case No. 11-852-CD, in the Washtenaw County Circuit Court in Ann Arbor, Michigan on August 1, 2011. Mr. Nowacki's lawsuit challenges gender discrimination against male Corrections Officers by the Michigan Department of Corrections at its Women's Huron Valley Facilty ("WHV") in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The Court certified the case as a class action on June 20, 2012.
