Jim Fett and client Simone Calvas were recently featured in an investigative report by Detroit WXYZ Channel 7's Bill Proctor. The report, which aired on Tuesday, Feb 1st, is just the latest in a string of the firm's high profile cases featured by the news media. The lawsuit, pending in the Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit, seeks in excess of $1,000,000 for wrongful discharge and retaliation. The case which Proctor referred to as "Religion vs. Justice," asserts that Judge Somers (1.) fired Calvas in retaliation for sending him letters protesting pregnancy and religious discrimination against her and (2.) because she associates with colleagues that had filed complaints against Somers for preaching from the bench.
